About
OmO/’s works are bundles of emotion—a symbiosis of computer-generated and animated characters, silicone and plastic toys, and a combination of the 3D graphic world and wildlife. These abstract creatures are born of consciousness shaped by the era of internet, television, endless gadgets, social media posts, likes, news feeds, accounts and other manifestations of contemporary digital life.
In their work, /OmO/ widely uses nature — its rhythms, forms, and plasticity — merging them with the rhythms and plasticity of metropolis streets: the pace of traffic, advertising spam, stress, race for attention and thirst to sink in multifarious entertainments. In this way, /OmO/’s creatures become civilisation mutants.
/OmO/ is primarily working with computer graphics and animation, The artist is a digital abstractionist and the digital successor to Pollock, Rothko, and De Kooning in the world of digital art. Their digital canvases pulse with vitality—recharging the viewer like a Duracell battery.
