Ruth Baettig studied at the Art Academy (ESAV) in Geneva, the Art Academy for Media (KHM) in Cologne and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris. Her artistic work is focused on interventions and interactions in the public space, as well as on videos and installations. Interested in site-specific creation and in a confrontation with different media, she has also developed longstanding themes through her works. Ruth Baettig is based in Basel and Lucerne, Switzerland.
