About

Agustín Miguez (1988, Santa Fe, Argentina) is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationship between fiction, reality, and the images that shape our experience in the contemporary context. His work encompasses drawing, objects, digital animation, and models, with an approach that questions the boundaries between the everyday and the fantastical. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including Este es mi lugar (CCK, Argentina, 2024), the 76th National Salon of Rosario (2023), and Hybridization, Mutation, and Camouflage (Museari, Valencia, 2024). His career has been recognized with grants and awards such as the Training Grant for the Art Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2024) and the Medialab Award (2022). With a background in architecture and active involvement in self-managed platforms like Proyecto Trucha, Miguez combines artistic research with educational initiatives, contributing to the development of emerging artists and fostering critical reflection on contemporary imagery.
